Its compact design maneuvers seamlessly through city streets or on any outdoor adventure, thanks to premium features like suspension and Infinity Wheels. But what really sold the Ark to me was its one-handed fold feature that doesn't require you to remove the seats. That's right, every parent who's struggled in a store parking lot trying to break down their stroller, disconnect the seats, squeeze it shut, and fit it in the trunk should rejoice. 

It takes only seconds, and the Ark is folded and ready to go! As you know by now, I take my reviews seriously and make sure I examine every part of the products I write about. You don't have to take my word on how good the Ark is; I've made this complete guide detailing all the exciting features that come with this impressive stroller.

As I mentioned above, one of the worst parts about double strollers is how hard they are to fold. Either there's too many parts to remove or they're super heavy and bulky, which is why most designs simply don't work. The Ark changes the game. It has an effortless one-hand folding feature that makes collapsing your stroller a breeze. The design allows you to keep the seats attached, and they fold flat into the stroller, protecting them from dirt and germs. It's one of the only strollers on the market with this exclusive folding capability, which is why the Ark is so unique. 

Comfort and Seating

Speaking of seating, the Ark ensures your little ones are safe and comfortable. To start, the seat lies completely flat with a one-hand recline, making it suitable for newborns up to kids 48 lbs. There's a 5-point harness for added protection, and an adjustable footrest that folds up to keep newborns secure. The Ark also comes with a bootinet that creates a bassinet-type feel, without having to use an actual bassinet. Along with the 5-point harness with padded shoulder straps, the Ark also features a padded napper bar for added security. Valco Baby also redesigned their brake system, with one-step technology that's fast and easy to use.

4-Stage Canopy

Protecting delicate skin from the sun is a big priority for parents, which is why I truly appreciate the Ark's 4-stage canopy extension. This sturdy shade boasts UPF 50+ protection and allows you to adjust it to multiple positions, including fully forward for unmatched privacy. There are vents along the side for exceptional airflow, a peekaboo window in the back, and a full, roll-up ventilation flap. 

Smooth Ride

Another area where the Ark Stroller really shines is in the smoothness of its ride. It features Valco Baby's premium suspension, allowing for exceptional shock absorption. It also comes with their premium Infinity Wheels, which measure 20.5 cm in the front and 30 cm in the rear. The larger wheel size makes maneuvering over uneven and bumpy terrain easier, so you can take your Ark stroller with you wherever you go. I also love that the Infinity Wheels are puncture-proof, so I don't have to worry about a rock or piece of glass ruining my whole day. 

Storage

As a parent, you know there's few things quite as annoying as not having enough storage in your stroller. Having to carry your bags and push your baby at the same time because a company didn't keep your needs in mind can be infuriating. Fortunately, Valco Baby cared enough to keep that in mind. The Ark has a mind-blowing 28 lb capacity storage basket that stretches the full length of the stroller. It offers more than enough room for my diaper bag, toys, shopping bags, and anything else my toddler may want to bring along that day. I can shop with confidence knowing I'll have plenty of room for storage, which is a thoughtful feature I really appreciate. 

Beautiful Colorways

Ok, I know I keep saying each feature is my favorite, but the Ark's sleek colorways definitely top my list. I love a stroller that looks lux, with bold yet understated colors. Currently, the Ark has two color options to choose from: Cloud and Ash, and if I'm honest, I don't know which one's my favorite. They're both elegant and modern, enhancing the beauty of this one-of-a-kind stroller. I also heard that Valco Baby plans to release a third colorway called Basil, which I'm very excited to see. No matter which color you choose, you can't go wrong; they're all absolutely beautiful. 

Customizability

As a mom who's partner is almost a foot taller than I am, I'm always happy to see when a stroller offers user customization options. The Ark has a 4-way telescopic handle that adjusts up and down to fit both tall and short people. All it takes is the push of a button, and you can move it to fit your height. That means both my husband and I can push our babies comfortably—talk about a win-win! The handle isn't the only area that you can adjust; you can also lower and raise the seat. 

I love this feature because it means you can keep a newborn closer to you, while a toddler can sit nearer the ground for easier loading and unloading. Along with raising and lowering the seat, you can also face it forward or backward, which is excellent for younger kids and for keeping an eye on them at all times. There's endless seating configuration options, making the Ark Stroller one of the most customizable models on the market.

If you’re anything like me, your stroller is basically your third arm. It goes everywhere with you, because let’s face it, your toddler refuses to walk that day. And if you’ve invested in a quality, stylish model (hello, luxury wheels!), stroller care is definitely a priority. Think about it. You wouldn’t drop a small fortune on a designer handbag and toss it in the mud, right? The same rules apply to your stroller. A well-kept stroller lasts longer, looks better, and holds its resale value (yes, you can resell high-end strollers when you’re done with them).  So, let’s talk stroller care. Here are my best tips to keep your stroller in the best shape. Give It a Monthly Wipe-Down (Yes, Monthly!) Let’s start with the obvious – how to clean a stroller. Your stroller needs to be cleaned regularly. And no, I’m not talking about hosing it down in your backyard like it’s your husband’s muddy hiking boots. Once a month, take 15 minutes to: Remove all the snack wrappers and mystery crumbs from the seat. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Spot-clean the fabric with a non-toxic cleaner (I love using baby-safe all-purpose sprays). Don’t forget the handlebar and cup holder - they get gross. Doing this regularly keeps dirt and grime from building up and makes deep cleans way easier later. Treat the Fabric Like You Would Your Couch If you bought a stroller with luxurious fabric, treat it like a piece of furniture. Most stroller seats are not machine-washable (yeah, I know), but many of them do allow you to unzip or remove parts to hand wash. Vacuum the seat and canopy now and then. Seriously, grab the handheld vacuum and go for it. Especially if your little one snacks on the go (which, who are we kidding, they always do).
